Nonprofits do not exist to turn a profit. They exist to fill the gaps that everything else leaves behind. And yet, the organizations doing some of the most important work in our communities are often the ones with the least support, the smallest budgets, and the fewest resources to tell their own story.

We started Donation Mission because we have been in those rooms. We know what it feels like to care deeply about a mission and struggle to find the tools, the talent, and the visibility to make it real.

Our parent company, IDE Interactive, has worked with nonprofits for years. Over time, something became clear. Nonprofit clients were some of our most passionate, most committed, and most rewarding partners to work with. They were not driven by profit. They were driven by purpose.

So we made a decision. We would carve out a dedicated space for them.

At Donation Mission, nonprofits get access to the same design, development, and consulting services as any other client, but at a rate built with their budgets in mind. We also use nonprofit projects as an opportunity to train and mentor junior developers and interns, so every project gives back in more ways than one.

Our founder spent time working at a nonprofit firsthand. That experience shaped everything about how we approach this work. We know the constraints. We know the pressure. And we know that the difference between a nonprofit thriving and just surviving often comes down to having the right people in their corner.

We want to be those people.

Donation Mission operates on two fronts.

We Tell Stories

We find nonprofits through referrals and community connections, sit down with the people behind them, and write about their work so donors and volunteers can find them, understand them, and decide how they want to get involved. Every organization we feature has been personally connected with and interviewed by our team.

We started in Chicago and are growing from there.

We Build Things

For nonprofits that need more than visibility, we offer hands-on services through our team. Design, development, consulting, digital strategy, and everything in between. The same quality you would expect from a full-service agency, at a price point that respects what nonprofits are working with.

There are thousands of nonprofits doing extraordinary work right now. Some of them are well known. Most of them are not. And behind almost every one of them is a small team of people pouring everything they have into a mission they believe in.

They deserve better tools. Better visibility. Better support.
